Opening the heart requires strength, time, and trust.

If we feel the need to verify, how much trust is there? And if we don't verify, is there any accountability at all?

What are the limits of connection?

We can do this. We do it all the time.

Cognitive dissonance, healing trauma.

Because beauty takes time.

Maybe I’m a mermaid after all.

And yet I know we are in it, all of us, for better or worse

I have known since I was 3 years old.

Maybe we have empathy fatigue. Maybe we just need time to feel.

It’s hard to find that sweet spot ….

The reality is, change is constant in all of us. But do we see it?

I hope to rally my troops into one single movement: breath.

What if it’s not either but both?

Life is infinitely more enjoyable if I can manage to prevent it from distracting me.

As it turns out, time is fungible.

We are not powerless. It is not too late to stop the climate disaster.

There is something about knowing that this expanse is literally within my fingertips, within me ….

If I can’t be myself, whatever connection I am attempting is neither durable nor real.

Some of us hoard resources. It’s beyond unjust: it is misguided.
