No matter what you want to change in your life, the process is the same.

Coaching can help you navigate change.

Look, change is hard. Don’t I know it. I have moved continents more than once. I have gone through divorce and handled the complexities of cross-cultural cohabiting and co-parenting. I have changed careers in major ways, and have lived in Denmark, England, France, Guatemala, Peru, Spain, and the United States. The variety in my life experience has helped me see change for what it is: a constant part of life and a major source of inspiration. And also hard. Really really hard.

Coaching has been invaluable to me at various points along the way, helping me clarify what was important and deprioritize the “fluff.” (Spoiler-alert: the fluff is not always fluffy).

I hope to do the same for you.

Coaching

As a coach, my job is to help you to articulate what you want and how to get there. In your relationships, in your career, in your life generally. Sometimes I think of coaching as the talk-version of yoga: a structured process of self-discovery. Through regular meetings, you uncover what you already know and need, and unleash the confidence and resources within to make it happen.

Why Me?

My Approach

Change is an inevitable part of life. How we engage with it is a choice.

Balance is a big theme for me. I don’t believe in “work-life balance” in the traditional sense. For one thing, it implies that we don’t live when we work, and that would be terrible.True balance is about discerning what is important to you right now.

Dealing with work overload is another big topic. In my more than two decades of not-for-profit work, I have honed skills in change management, mentoring, and sustainable work planning, and learned how to sort out manufactured urgency from actual emergencies.

Diversity as a source of strength is a huge topic too. I constantly seek to examine my power positionality and the privilege with which I walk through the world. I am grateful to folks who call me in when I don’t. In fact, I depend on this to understand, and fully live, my true self, and to support others to do the same.

You don’t have to be grappling with any of those topics to work with me. They are just examples of what takes up space in my mind. I hope to learn from you about what takes up space in yours.

For those who need to see official papers, I am certified in Deep Coaching with the Center for Transformational Coaching. I also hold an LL.M. in International Human Rights Law from the University of Essex, and an M.Sc. in European Management from EAP-ESCP. And obviously, I do yoga :)

My name is Marianne Møllmann, and I would love to be your new coach!
