Learning empathy

Yesterday was a lesson in empathy.

First, a friend asked me (gently) to see a conversation I had witnessed in a different light.

Then, a yoga instructor offered no options for lack of flexibility, which left me wondering how often I also leave folks in my class wondering what to do when their body can't or shouldn't do a specific bend or lift.

I thought about all the various truths we navigate. I thought about right perception (pramana) and wrong perception (viparyaya) and the need to dissolve it all. This work truly is humbling. And beautiful. And clear.
