60 minutes livestream yoga class: May focus is hips in all ways.
In this weekly 60-minute vinyasa class, we come together virtually to breathe, flow, and stretch. All of my classes are beginner-inclusive, with plenty of options for different preferences and energy-levels.
Every month I choose a loose theme to build around. Our May 2024 focus is hips! Flexibility and strength in our hips and lower back are key to so many yoga poses. We will work our hip flexors, adductors, abductors, quads, and glutes, and on the emotional level we will cultivate equanimity, balance, and steadiness. This will still be a full body work-out, so not to worry: the rest of your body will do plenty of work too!
You will build strength and bodily awareness at your own pace, wherever you start from. The classes are exercise and you should come prepared to challenge yourself and move. But you are in charge of the intensity, and I will help you stay in charge throughout.
